Rosewood Dialysis Clinic is a 16 station in-center hemodialysis clinic, with a home training suite containing 2 private training rooms. KC Studio provided design services for both the exterior shell and interior fit-out. The in-center and home training areas were to be licensed as separate facilities, so the design required fire separation between these spaces and dedicated support areas within each suite. Shared staff areas are accessible from both modalities, and private offices take advantage of southern exposure. With budget and schedule a top priority, the building was designed with a wood structure, which at the time was a readily available material, and brick exterior because local masons were readily available to quickly construct the façade.
