Megan Kaufmann, AIA, NCARB
Founder and Principal

Megan’s passion for architecture started in grade school. Her father was a builder and her mother an artist – the perfect combination for an architect! She graduated from Northeastern University with a Master of Architecture and worked at firms in major cities along the east coast. Throughout her career, she worked on many different project types (beachfront mansions, elementary schools, skyscrapers, and more) and realized that commercial and healthcare architecture was what she enjoyed the most. However, what really makes her tick is a passion for mentoring. Megan is involved with various community outreach and volunteer organizations, including ACE Mentoring, AIA Triangle Volunteer Committee, Wake County Academy for Construction and Design Careers, Wake County Public School System, AIA Barkitecture Committee, and a handful of animal rescues. She lives in downtown Raleigh, NC with her husband, son, daughter, and two crazy dogs. Her life is a self-described circus, and she wouldn’t have it any other way.
