KC Studio turned a Class B office space into a state-of-the-art laboratory for research and development. We expanded and renovated an existing space to add four separate laboratories and an open office area for Susteon, a sustainable energy and technology company in Cary, NC. The wet lab, dry lab, DAC lab, and plasma lab were all contained within a control area that we created to allow for combustible storage. This project required a thorough understanding of building code and close coordination with the township and landlord for changes required to the building exterior for proper ventilation.
